 Acorus gramineus   'Aureopusillus Minimus'

Sweet Flag

 

Though actually a member of the arum family (Calla lily and Jack-in-the-pulpit),

'Minimus' features tufts of yellow grassy-like leaf blades. As with most sweetflags, the foliage is sweetly fragrant. It is a wonderful groundcover, forming a stunning golden carpet.

The plants grow best in full sunshine, outdoors.  Acorus is very much a water loving plant, and the soil must be kept continually moist.

Angelonia (lavender, pink, white, purple)

bushy and full with sturdy stems that seldom reach much above 2ft. Its charm is a long-running display of mid- to late-summer flowers that are small, gracefully lipped, and very abundant toward the end of the stems. Likes good drainage and full sun, thrives on heat.

Argeranthemum frutescens ‘Butterfly Yellow’

Heat-tolerant marguerite Daisy with oomph. 'Butterfly' produces canary-yellow flowers throughout the summer ­ even without deadheading. daisies require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. Daisies may be used as a cut flower and they are excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. The Daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional bloom. The deeply cut, dark green leaves are aromatic when bruised.

Artemesia dracunculus ‘Sativa’

An aromatic culinary herb with a mint-anise flavor. Though it is most often used to flavor vinegar, it is also great with beef, chicken, fish, soup & salads. Adds a wonderful aroma to the garden.  Deer & rabbit resistant.

a new, beautiful hybrid, produced by the combination of Petunia and Calibrachoa. It exhibits all the advantages of both Petunia & Calibrachoa. A very good, free flowering plant in nursery production. Royal Velvet is a compact plant which grows to approximately 8 feet. It produces rich velvet purple 4-5" flowers with red anthers and blooms May-June and August-September.
