Winter Hardy Plants
For fall and winter color in the landscape, consider replacing summer plantings with pansies. Considered only for Spring in more northern climes, these bright little faces, when planted October through January, bloom profusely through the winter in the South. When used in patio containers, it may be desirable to add winter hardy companion plants for added dimension and texture.
